Christmas 2009 #3 Spratts and Sturges

Well we finally got a computer that works thanks to John Jr.. So I have downloaded lots of pictures from the past...so we will start with our third Christmas for 2009. Here all four grand kids are giving Grandpa a big hug but I have no idea why?? If you look close you can see my very nicely decorated tree...keep in mind this is after the 25th.

Of course The III and Tatem already got their....see in a soon to be post...so they brought them back and now even though it is freezing cold, here they are having fun!!

The mom's out freezing also watching all the fun and wishing for the good old days when they could be carefree ;o)

Some Cheers....Some Tears...

Ok so I know some of you will Cheer and some might tear....but I will not be able to master my metabolism!!!!

According to Jillian Michaels if I want to do that I will have to eat a ton of things that I do not like!! For instants Lemon Garlic Shrimp with veggies...pork tenderloin with steamed asparagus,
chicken sausage...and the list goes on and on. For you people out there who love food and are not picky this is a great book. Lots of great ideas and some good recipes also. I have to admit there is a few things I will eat in here, but not much.

I like her advice that "if it does not grow in the ground or have a mama do not eat it"!! I can live with that...even for my chocolate...it come from a cocoa bean and that grows in the ground!!

I would give this book a thumbs up ;o)( Master your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels). Even though I'm a picky eater and it hasn't really helped me at all I can see it helping those normal people out there!

So pick up a copy today.

The III turns 7....yikes how can that be??

Grandpa and I always take the youngun's out to the place of their choice for their birthday lunch. This year was no different for The III. His choice was Red Robin. Here he is eating/drinking a milkshake with grandpa watching on.

We were almost to the car and The III said...well I think we did a couple of laps I can count for my walking club!!! Ha,ha,ha! I was walking for a competition at school and turns out The III has a little walking club at his school that he is on and that is what he was thinking about. How fun!!!

My Boys.....

Well it has been a busy Christmas season...to start it off Ethan had his Christmas program at school. Here is Caleb waiting for it to start..Here is Ethan coming in....isn't he cute!!!

Still singing. Of course my camera was not working it's best so I didn't get a lot of pictures and I missed the one where he found us and was waving to us, but that was because I was waving back ;o) Good job Ethan

Next was The III's Christmas sing along...now there is more pictures here...not sure if it is because of the change from kindergarten to 1st grade or because of the difference between Boise and Meridian school districts...Ethan had maybe one minute of singing time and The III had 45 minutes...but his was a sing along with 1st grade leading it.
So here is The III( sorry about the wild eyes I'm blaming it on the camera...) Look I got his wave ;o)

Sorry about the picture being the back of The III, but Terriebeth and John had great seats until they started putting out more chairs which made us way far back and so I opted for standing room only and this way the only place...Here he is getting ready to hit the pinata. This was a last minute assignment and he did great ;o)

He knocked it off the string on the second swing I think so the teacher made him stand and hold it until the song finished.

Ok Desert Sage does their sing a long twice so I hurry to the other side for standing room only to see if I could get better pictures...so here is our second 45 minutes. What a cute kid.

I enjoyed watching you both The III and Ethan, you were so cute and made me smile!! Can't wait until next year when Tatem will be right out there singing with you all....then the year after that Caleb....yikes I'm going to have to quit my job so I can attend all your fun performances ;o)
