Picture of the day #248

 Today's picture of the day is of our home grown potatoes!!! Here is Tim digging up some for dinner!

 It is interesting how they grow!!

Ok this is the most interesting part...here is the root of the plant and a few tiny potatoes that are just starting to grow hanging on to the root!!  Now what happened to the potatoes we used for the seeds??

 Here is the biggest and the smallest we picked today!!

 Here is out whole harvest for today...we still have more out there!!

And here is our wonderful mashed potatoes to go with chicken and noodles over potatoes!!!  Yummy!

They were so good!  I can't believe we have never grown our own potatoes before!!

 Austin and Daisy loved being under the table!
