Day 7 Part 2

Second stop of the day.  Fenway Park.  The pictures are self explanatory.

 Tim buying our tour tickets!

One bottle of water outside the park was $3, pretty much what we pay for a case of it here.

And we thought the water was expensive....Yikes!!

Ok another weird/strange thing in Boston...see the little picture at the bottom of the wall?
The Drain say Boston??  We are in Boston where else would it be from?

Statue of the four most famous Red Sox players

Waiting for the tour to start...
Let's try that again?  Much better. (side note....Tonya thought we dressed bright!  from this picture I guess she was right!)  Ha,ha,ha!

The Visiting teams locker room.  Ok I wasn't that impressed.  Don't know what I expected but not a little hole in the wall type room.

Just had to snap a picture of the food prices.

 The owners' box
 Cool old style seating

 View from the owners' box

What a cute couple (especially the one on the right)

Thought the water cost a lot outside...well it's another $1 inside!
Tim listening to the tour guide.

The Green Monster has it's own concession stand!
 View from "The Green Monster"

This is where our season tickets are at!

See the little white marks on the green wall.  That is where home run balls hit it.

Terrie getting ready to take in a game
I'm not a drinker so yes these prices shocked me.  But what do I know I don't buy the stuff so those prices might be right on.

Who knew Mickey Mouse is a Red Sox fan!

 Watching a practice session

 The famous 'Red Chair'

 Batting practice

 Inside the Red Sox museum
 Old style mitt
 The evolution of the baseball

 Assorted memorabilia

One of the largest collection of baseball bats

On game days, this guy shuts down his gas station and charges fans $30 to park and he has a full lot every night.

Ok a few more weird/strange things in Boston...Pink shorts on guys.  Saw this a few times.
The crosswalk has Fenway Park painted above it??
 A bike tour
A guy with a small dog...Ok the story is most big dogs we saw being walked were by ladies, most guys we saw walking dogs had small dogs.

Fenway park was fun!  I encourage all of you to go if you ever go to Boston.
