Capturing December catching up again ;o)

DECEMBER 27:  NIGHT TIME.  It was pretty quite here and too cold to go outside and get a shot so here is what I have!
DECEMBER 28:  WORDS.  Well of course I thought of scriptures for my words.  I couldn't pick a favorite one, since I like all of them so here is what I have!

And later that night we saw these words at the Sturges Extravaganza so of course I need to add it ;o)
Thing 7 and Thing 8 will only be 5 months apart.

DECEMBER 29: Sky View, We don't have much of a sky view from out house because of all the trees and maybe I'm thinking sky line instead of view.  But here is what I got!  The orange/red sunrise!

DECEMBER 30:  Your Winter Wonderland:  Just a couple of pics from our yard, I wished this was a couple of weeks ago when we really had a winter wonderland.

This table is where we kept our juice and pop cold on Christmas~  That as fun~

Only one more day to go!  I'm betting I won't get it posted tomorrow but I'll get one taken!
Happy New Year!!!

Capturing December catch up....

Ok well it has been crazy at the Sturges house the last two weeks with Basket Ball, Bishop responsibilities, birthday's, graduations and Christmas, so I'm a little behind.
DECEMBER 14:  Christmas Tree.  Yes we had our tree on December 14 but it was not decorated until December 23 due to our crazy schedule.
DECEMBER 15: Favorite Holiday Song.  Ok this was a hard one here is two I picked out.  But there are many more!

DECEMBER 16: Outside Christmas Lights.  This tree is by South Jr High and it is really cool, didn't turn out so cool on my phone though.
DECEMBER 17: Presents, you didn't really think I would take a picture of them now did you?  Of course they were not wrapped until December 24, but they were well hidden under the good old red and blue!!!
Ok here is some presents I gave out that you can see ;o)

DECEMBER 18: Stockings, Here is our stocking all ready to go

DECEMBER 19:  Candy Canes
DECEMBER 20: Tree Topper, well I hate to say it but we do not have a tree topper!  So here is a couple picture of my little guy!!!  He graduated today with his Masters in accounting.  Not bad for a daddy of 4, working full time!  Way to go TJ!!  We are proud of you!

DECEMBER 21: Peace, here is Miss Daisy sleeping peacefully in our cold house, until I took the picture of course.
DECEMBER 22:  Tradition.  Ok well I'm posting two pictures for this one.  First one is we have our little red bird that flies to the North Pole to let Santa know who has been good and who has been naughty!
Second is our  crazy tradition of making Swedish Tea Rings for our family and the people at Church who we are in a calling with our who we Visit Teach or Home Teach.  Tim took Monday and Tuesday off to help out this year.  Usually he just gets to drive and deliver.   Thanks hon, even though you do it different than me it was fun to have you working by my side to get them all done!  We dropped them off with instructions for baking them on Christmas morning.
DECEMBER 23: Scarf.  Well Bishop wouldn't put his cool scarf on that Tabitha made him, so I just took a picture of it hanging up with his work coat in the closet!
DECEMBER 24:  Favorite Part of Christmas Eve.  Well I wanted to take a picture of my bed, but that is always my favorite part of any evening.  But Bishop said that didn't count.   So I took a picture of most of the presents all wrapped and placed under the tree.
DECEMBER 25:  Morning.   Well here is Bishop finding his presents!  It was a quite morning at our house this year!  The fun started at 5p.m.
DECEMBER 26:  Grateful,  Well I have to say I'm grateful for a husband who is willing to do Honey Do's and help me out when ever I need it~  Thanks ;o)
Ok just a couple more days to go and I'll be done!  Hopefully I will be able to do them each day and not a bunch at a time again.

Capturing December 1st through the 9th

Ok my kids and some friends have said that I haven't been posting for a long time.  So I saw this Capturing December on Pintrest and thought oh this will help me post more.  Yeah well I'm already 9 days behind in posting but not taking the pictures so here is day 1-9
DECEMBER 1ST: Your view today...My view was our tree that was getting cut down in the next couple of days. Of course I forgot until it was dark
DECEMBER 2nd:  Favorite Holiday Movie:  I picked the Santa Clause, there really is so many it is hard to narrow down to just one.
DECEMBER 3rd: Red:   I picked our cute little Mr and Mrs Clause who we have had for ever.
DECEMBER 4th:  Joyous...Ok not sure if this counts we were happy for more firewood but sad to see the tree come down.
DECEMBER 5TH: Today's temperature:   to bad this wasn't yesterday or today and it would read -3
DECEMBER 6TH:  Shopping, well I forgot to take the picture but here is a few things we bought at Costco, sorry I can't show you the rest, it just might be presents or green beans ;o)
DECEMBER 7TH :Bright  Well this was the first picture I took Saturday morning it was pretty bright with all the snow, but didn't show up that way.
So later in the evening I snapped this one it is bright ;o)
DECEMBER 8TH:  Ornament (s):  Well we don't have our tree up yet so here is a picture of one of our favorite ornaments, The Christmas Pickle
You hide the pickle in the tree and change it location all the time, then whoever finds it on Christmas day get a prize ;o). A German tradition. We received this pickle from Bishop Daines when Tim was in the Bishopric with him.  We have since bought all our kids their own pickles.

DECEMBER 9TH: Something you are reading,  well right now I'm not reading a Christmas book, I just finished two a week or so ago.  But I am reading Bliss!  It's a fun little magical book ;o)
I will do my best to be back tomorrow, and maybe one day finish posting about our trip to Boston and our family reunions.  Yep I have some great pictures from that.  And the tree coming down and a few birthdays...yikes we have 2 grandkids in double digits now!  Yikes when did that happen!!
