This is just 1/2 of two boxes of potatoes we got from our little garden...and I was scared to use them for french fries for fear we would eat them all before John had a chance to come and try them!!  Ha,ha,ha!

Long day...no time to take pictures...so here is a 9:30 at night picture...one of my favorite lotions on a cute table runner that I manage to get from one of the counselors at school!  Ha,ha,ha!  She didn't want this beautiful thing any more!!!  I love it!!!

Tim has a new show he likes to watch...it is American Pickers...on the History channel.  These guy go out and find really old stuff and buy it cheap then fix it up and sell it!  They do find some pretty cool stuff.  They found a Planet of the Ape's lunch box today, but I didn't think about making it my picture of the day until the very end...this was their find at that time! They are haggling on a price with the guy in the blue shirt.

Peaches.....

With all of the canning of peaches we have been doing TerrieBeth was singing this song and taught it to her kids.  So Trip was in on a little surprise with me...that was for the 4 things to sing it and I tape it but really I was trying to get the big kids on tape.  They didn't sing along as much as they did the first time.  But not having seen this except for taping it I think I might have got a few good shots!!  Thanks JT for going along with me.

Sunday Activities....

Our Sunday activities consisted of Tatem losing her flip flop in the ditch while trying to catch water skippers.  And we ended up having to get some rakes out to find it!  Then Tim was taking care of Daisy's friends.   short video of her friends and their home.And of course once Tim sprays the bee stuff Daisy won't go outside.  Here is a video of me trying to coax her out.  She is out and out refusing.

Beautiful Sunset..

After the Relief Society's General Broadcast tonight...this is what greeted us... a Beautiful sunset....

Funny Corn

 I thought these 3 ears of corn were funny...the first one the kernels are every which way in a couple of rows..The middle one no row grew in a straight line. and the third one...has a section where the kernels didn't grow at all

And now for a view of the other side...all is normal except the one in the middle!!  Funny corn!

Well we are on printer number 4 just in the last couple of months.  Ours had a part break, thanks to me getting a piece of stuck paper out, then Tabitha gave us hers and then it started only printing pictures and not words...weird I know.  So we went out and bought a new one, and get it all set up and guess what???  Yep that is right it didn't work!  So we took it back and got another one just like it but we have not got it hooked up yet, so who knows if it will work or not!!!  Wish us luck!  I still have a quilt to make for my youngest grandson, at this rate he will be graduating before I get it done!

 Yep we got more peaches and pears....and there is one more box I didn't take a picture of!!  These pears look a lot better to me than the last one...I like them green!

Wow miracles really do happen.  Here is some peach salsa Tim started making before I got home.  He made it up until the last 5 minutes of stirring it and then filling the jars and pressure cooking it.

 So guess who got to do that!!!  Yep little old scardy cat me!!!...Here I am putting the top on!!!  yikes!

 Here is the finished product just after the I took the lid off.  Tim got home a few minutes before it was ready to come off and started to help and I said hey I've done this much I'm finishing it!!!

 Ok it is really yummy!! I can't wait to get some good chips and give it a try!! We tried the leftovers and they were great!!  Of course we just had a spoon!

I had a busy day... first was work, from there I had the football game, then off  to church for a Humanitarian project and it was 9:15 when I drove in the driveway and I still hadn't taken my picture of the day.  Anyway this is what I found...is Tim trying to remember to take the garbage out???  What he tells me is he was going to take them out to the street but he didn't want anyone going through our garbage so he left them there!!  Ha,ha,ha!  Whatever reasons it makes a great picture of the day!!

By the way Happy Birthday Tabitha!!!

 And I don't know how he does it but he seems to be able to cream everyone at power bowling!!

I have this cute grandson that comes in the house and says Grandma  you have a cucumber out there that is as long as my arm...we today I  found that he was almost right.  So after his game we measured it.  It's as long as his forearm...isn't he so cute!  I love the smile!    Love the glasses on top of the hat too!

 Thing 3 said can I try?  Thing 1 cracks me up!

 Looks pretty big!

 It really is almost as long as her whole arm!!
