3 Reunions and a Funeral # 2

Ok this is going to have to be in more than 3 posts...but this is a fun one...ha,ha,ha! It is a Mario Cart post. Here are 2 of the boys racing with one watching on...(TJ's two and Brett's one)When Terriebeth and John got to the house they brought their remotes and wheels so now we can have 4 people race. FUN TIMES..Here is Brett's to boys and Randy and Nicole racing...Lynne is watching on...(Stay tuned to other post to see her play ;o))

3 Reunions and a Funeral # 3

This post is suppose to be about 3 reunions and a funeral, but as I was posting pictures just for the 3rd reunion I decided it would be to many for one post so they will be in their own posts...It was a long fun weekend.

This is the start of the third reunion..this one was family and friends... not sure who everyone is but the bottom left is Uncle Wayne, Cousin David and his wife Cousin Debbie ;o)

Earning Money!!!

With vacations coming soon, the kids want to earn some spending money. They are pretty good workers so we had them come over to help with yard work. Here Tatem is picking up sticks after a big wind storm came through...look how many are in the wheelbarrow ;o)The III got the fun job of cleaning out the ditches.

Book Update

Ok I finished Not to Worry Mom I'm OK. It was a very good book. It was about a family and the youngest child had CF. And it takes you through his life and how he and his family adapted to life and death. It was written by his mom and it is a true story! It was written by someone who used to be in my ward, so some of you out there might know some of the people in it if you read it! I highly recommend it ;o)

I also finished The Sea of Monsters one of the books in the series that the III wanted me to read! Yep it was pretty good, and when you finish you want more right away!! Fun!!! I can't wait for the three book. Lots of fun and twist in this book...just when you think you have it figured out....guess what??? I highly recommend it!!! Ok the III you need to hurry and finish book 3 I need it!!!! Of course if it was just the III reading it by himself he would be done, (when I gave him back book one he read over half of it in 24 hours see TBJS blog...yep that's what he is reading while Tatem is jumping), but he is reading with the family so they all have to be there in order for them to read!! I love that idea...A family that reads together stays together!!!

Book Update

Ok what can you say when your 1st grade grandsons ask if you want to read one of his books. You say yes of course...and that is how I got to read The Lightning Thief. Which I'm very proud of The III for being able to read!! It is a great book and I recommend it to all. The only bad thing about it...is you want the next one as soon as you read the last word...Ha,ha,ha! I even heard that people are disappointed after reading #5 because that is the very end and you are left wanting more....reminds me of Harry Potter and many, many more!
