Well we are on printer number 4 just in the last couple of months.  Ours had a part break, thanks to me getting a piece of stuck paper out, then Tabitha gave us hers and then it started only printing pictures and not words...weird I know.  So we went out and bought a new one, and get it all set up and guess what???  Yep that is right it didn't work!  So we took it back and got another one just like it but we have not got it hooked up yet, so who knows if it will work or not!!!  Wish us luck!  I still have a quilt to make for my youngest grandson, at this rate he will be graduating before I get it done!

 Yep we got more peaches and pears....and there is one more box I didn't take a picture of!!  These pears look a lot better to me than the last one...I like them green!

Wow miracles really do happen.  Here is some peach salsa Tim started making before I got home.  He made it up until the last 5 minutes of stirring it and then filling the jars and pressure cooking it.

 So guess who got to do that!!!  Yep little old scardy cat me!!!...Here I am putting the top on!!!  yikes!

 Here is the finished product just after the I took the lid off.  Tim got home a few minutes before it was ready to come off and started to help and I said hey I've done this much I'm finishing it!!!

 Ok it is really yummy!! I can't wait to get some good chips and give it a try!! We tried the leftovers and they were great!!  Of course we just had a spoon!

I had a busy day... first was work, from there I had the football game, then off  to church for a Humanitarian project and it was 9:15 when I drove in the driveway and I still hadn't taken my picture of the day.  Anyway this is what I found...is Tim trying to remember to take the garbage out???  What he tells me is he was going to take them out to the street but he didn't want anyone going through our garbage so he left them there!!  Ha,ha,ha!  Whatever reasons it makes a great picture of the day!!

By the way Happy Birthday Tabitha!!!

I have this cute grandson that comes in the house and says Grandma  you have a cucumber out there that is as long as my arm...we today I  found that he was almost right.  So after his game we measured it.  It's as long as his forearm...isn't he so cute!  I love the smile!    Love the glasses on top of the hat too!

 Thing 3 said can I try?  Thing 1 cracks me up!

Tomatoes, Pears, corn, and Coco Puff Balls

Well we had another busy Saturday!!  But we got lots done!  First we went to Trip's game.  Then we went grocery shopping.  Then home to bake 10 lbs of potatoes for a stake activity tonight.  After they were int he oven we got started canning more tomatoes.  In the interest of time, Tim found a recipe for a Tomato Soup Base, so we got to work skinning the tomatoes and blending them and pressure cooking them.  Next we started on the pears...I had to run the potatoes over to the church right after we started the pears, then came home and spent the next couple of hours on pears.  Here is the first couple of jars.

 After the pears we done except for few left to pressure cook, I went to pick corn...Ok it was a scary experience.  I was a little worried about earwigs but nothing bad...but the rows were close together and I just finished reading Lovely Bones and my girls talked about books and scared me, anyway I got really freaked out.  So this is all I picked and made Tim go out!

 Now as you can see, my corn field is not that bad...but I couldn't do anymore.  It looks like I was still shaking when I took the pictures!!

 I did have to take a picture of the sunset.

 Tim still picking...not at all scared...I was still freaked out just taking pictures...in fact I told the girls I don't know if I can ever go in the corn maze again!!!  ;o)

 While some of the pears were still pressure cooking we made some Peanut Butter Coco Puff Balls for Tim's YM tomorrow.

 And I still have school work and Scriptures to do before bed!!!  Not to mention BLOG!

 Here is our end product....well here is the 16 tomatoes soup and most of the pears.
