Cool Pumpkins!!!

Wow look at these cool pumpkins we found in our garden...Tabitha is excited that she found a small plant under her pumpkin and a small cucumber ;o) How do you get it to stop underlining!!! If you look...what where did the underline go!! I hate computer and camera's but that is another story...if you look close you can see Tabitha's name in her pumpkin
She wants to make sure it doesn't get to cold before Halloween and Freeze ;o) So she covered it up for a couple of weeks
Here is one we found that said Grandma Terrie on it...Weird like there would be another grandma living here???
What have Grandpa and Tatem found???? Hiding behind the rose bush??

We found one that had Terriebeths initials on it...doesn't she look happy???

Yep I got the pictures out of order again ;o) Anyone surprised??? Here are a few whose pumpkins didn't turn out or just flat out disappeared... They are all pretty sad...Look at Ethans Face ;o)

Oh look we found one that had Caleb Theone on it!

And here is Ethan's ...his did disappear so we bought one and tried to put his name on it but it didn't really work and then it went bad really bad...but he was a sport for the camera anyway
Here is TJ that survived because of Cheyenne pepper but the squirrels did get a little of it before we got to it...so you couldn't even read TJ's name
Look what JT found... another pumpkin with a name on it....
Yep you guessed it...it says John Spratt III
So how did we get the names on them you ask...well first we had to go into the pumpkin patch with our swords and make sure it was safe.

Then we took toothpicks and carved our names in them when they were very little
Tatem had mommy help her with her name.
Then mommy wrote her name on a pumpkin close to where Tatems was...notice that is the same one????
Then she wrote John's name on one


Ethan is having Daddy help write his name on his...

Hollie is writing her name on one
Grandpa is showing Caleb where his is...mommy and Caleb wrote it before grandma could get the picture.
Terriebeth writing her name on another one because hers disappeared...hummmmm wonder why???

I recommend you all try it for next year!! It is fun to watch you name grow as the pumpkins grow....and the kids love to see their name on them.

Scary Things....

Well I guess I'm getting old...or maybe I've always been a scaredy cat...Ha,ha,ha!!

So on Friday...I get Tim off to work and then went and got ready for work and was walking back into the kitchen to make my lunch and feed the dogs and I saw someone sitting in Tim's chair...well it was their eyes I saw...they were glowing in the dark because of course their was no lights on in the living room or the dinning room, so I hurry fast into the kitchen towards the phone ....then I remember that .....I moved the furniture around in the living room and it was the cable box I saw glowing!! ha,ha,ha!! (No wonder the dogs were not going crazy!!)

Then that same day I was at work and I had to go into the storage room for something...and we talk about how we don't want to be in there when the lights go out because no windows, no back up lights it is pretty dark. So anyway I unlock the door, walk in and head to what I need and it goes pitch black...yikes a scream was right there but then I remembered an ran to the light switch...it does help to turn the light on! The door does not stay open by itself! Scary!!

Then today Saturday, I had to run to the basement...I hate the basement...to get some colored paper to print something off for school. So I go down and in to the fruit room get the paper, come out turn out the light shut the door and head up the stairs....And yes this time there was a blood curdling SCREAM!!! Some one was chasing me up the stairs! I jumped so bad it hurt my back...but no worries it was just Daisy who followed me down the stairs and was worried I was going to leave her down there! Scary, scary, scary. The only one who came to help me was Caleb ;o). And my scream scared Daisy so she past me! Ha,ha,ha

I guess you could say I'm getting a pay back for all the scary emails I send out ;o)

Halloween Villiage 2008

Well it is almost Halloween and we need to get the house ready ;o) ha,ha,ha!! That's my evil Halloween laugh. So this weekend the grandkids came over to help put up the village. Ethan is ready to go, helping grandpa open the boxes! Tatem helped bring in the table from the garage but we didn't get the camera out fast enough ;o) Now JT is helping to open the boxes....I wonder if grandpa will have enough patience to deal with 4 grandkids and his very special village???
Oh here comes Aunt Tabitha to save the day with power strips...you can have all the piece lit up with one one or two or three...Way to go Tab!!!
While we are all working hard on the village John and Terriebeth are in the kitchen tossing jelly beans into each others mouths...I wonder if he missed???

Caleb has yet to make it over to the set design area...he has some smarties and he ain't ready to give them up.
Tatem helping to lift up some more of the boxes...look how many we still have to go.
Tim, Ethan, Tabitha and TJ...must be a placement questions and all have to come to the same answer.
John....not sure if he liked their answer...or is it the look he gives Terriebeth when she is in trouble because she is taking his picture???

Well Look at that ....Caleb made it to the table ....yep that is still his one pack of smarties in his hand, and yes grandpa and Ethan are still unpacking.

Everyone is working on their own now. Notice Terriebeth's tongue is not out but she is pushing it against her lower lip so I say that is close...

More boxes...will it ever end? (ok I don't know how to cut the pictures out and I didn't want to start again...I had 71 pictures good thing I only uploaded 68 of them Ha,ha,ah!!) That's my evil laugh again.
