Easter.....

Yes I know everyone else has already posted their fun Easter Pictures!!! I'm starting with the end of our day...At like 8:30 p.m. on Easter, Tim, Tabitha and I dyed our eggs. Tabitha thought it would be fun to "drink " the dye ;o{ She hates this picture!!! ha,ha,ha! Sorry Tab ;o) Tabitha and Flat Megan saying peace and Happy Easter to all!

4 kids, 4 bats, 4 balls and only two people to throw the ball to them all!!! They did a great job!

We are thankful for the real reason of Easter and started the day by attending church. And ended it by spending it with a few of our favorite things.

Remember to take the time to see the grass, trees, flowers, all coming back to life and know that there is hope. That the trials make us stronger, and most important that we are never alone.

Terrible Thursday!!!!

I know some of you post Thankful Thursday....well today I'm posting Terrible Thursday!!

What a day...it starts off with me being about 3 minutes late to work...which for me is really 13 minutes because I always get to work 10 minutes early, so I was not happy with myself

Then I get an email that is asking a question...to me it was a sad email so I cried while I answered it...keep in mind this is at 7:00 a.m. It might not be sad to other but it is to me...no I can't tell you what the email said..not yet any way. So since I cried it bugged my contacts...go figure, and I really didn't cry that much...to many people around.

Next I could not find a file I needed ....I checked with records and they did not have it....well then I notice the kid is in 8th grade and not 7th like I thought...so I go looking in the 8th grade files and guess what I find??? You guessed it the file.

Then I get a request for another file and all I can find on them is out of district stuff, with a few copies on in district stuff...so I call records and they said they do not have it...so I put out an SOS to the other schools to see if anyone has it.

Then I work through my lunch...well most of it...but that was my choice so I can't complain ;o)

Then I drop the last of my fiber one bar on the floor....not happy and you all will be surprised to know that I picked it up and ate it!!! Yuck!

Ok back to the 2nd file I can't find...me and records decide that I will just make a new file and we will wait and see what happens. No biggy....until I put the new file in with the withdrawn files for the year and guess what I find......you guessed it her file...now how did it get in there without the other stuff???? Some where it has to come back to me???? So now tomorrow I have to eat crow and email records and all the other schools and tell them....I have it...again!

Oh it gets better just wait....I decide I'm getting out on time for once...well of course that doesn't happen but I was only 10 minutes late so I lock up and head up to the main off to drop off some mail, talk to Kathie for about 5-10 minutes, then make the long, long walk to the parking lot only to be blinded by the sun...(what is that??), find my sun glasses and then can't seem to find my car anywhere....then it dawns on my that I was late so I parked on the other side of the building closer to my office!!! So I have to make the long, long, long walk all the way back to my car...Kathie was really good and only said "forgot where you parked?" with a little giggle.

I made it home and remembered that I didn't get stuff ready for my subs coming it tomorrow...so now I have more work to do in the morning and no time because I need to cover the main office until 7:30, so now I will have to go in early to get my stuff done and be down there by 7:00...life is tough.

Now I'm going to exercise and then I have a meeting to go to at 7:00p.m. , so the night is young and who knows how it will end up!!! Ha,ha,ha

I guess I should say I'm thankful for my small trials that help me to see the humor in life ;O)

Yahoo...Look who turned Four!!!! And no I could not just post four pictures....I tried but there was not way so I posted four pictures of each event!! Fun! ha,ha,ha! The first group is presents ....I picked the four cutest...(at least what I thought were the cutest)....pictures

Iron Chef Tim

Yahoo it is Spring Break!!! Fun....and to start it off Iron Chef Tim does some great BBQing...to bad I don't like meat ;o( Here is his wonderful fixing to his Grilled California Avocado B-L-T Burgers with Caramelized Chipotle Onions....You have your hamburger...not just any hamburger this has some secret ingredients...the hot dogs are for the kids...you have tomatoes and lettucesA special sauce, (secret ingredients that I can not share ), that goes on the bun before any of the other yummy things.....Some caramelized onions...which seemed to go over great.Some grilled avocado...which also was a hit....There was bacon also but I forgot to get a picture of that sorry all ;o)Here is all the fixing except for the sauce and the bacon...Yep even the jelly bellies went on....just kidding!Here is two starving kids waiting for some food....even though theirs doesn't take as long to get ready they had to wait..... John was the first to get his built...you can't see the bacon resting on the top of the pile...what a nice looking hamburger..

Flat Megan wanted to sit by Tatem and share her french fries. Notice Tabitha's hamburger...it is a lot smaller than the rest...no lettuce, tomato , avocado or onions for her...she is almost as bad as me ;o)

After dinner resting....watching March Madness...but wait there is something I want to show you....I have no idea what they were watching on the laptop but even the two kids were enjoying it so I had to snap a picture!!!

Life back to normal....Tim had to work so Spring Break is just another week on the home stead....but he has big plans for some more fun cooking experiments this weekend!! Ha,ha,ha!

We did take Tatem out to her birthday lunch on Tuesday and she was mad because they sang Happy Birthday to her and it wasn't her birthday!! Can't believe she is four. Ok back to the book, The Host...weird book but can't put down. Ha,ha,ha!
