Tatem had a secret to share with the waitress...I didn't get the best part on camera...the waitress was leaning down so Tatem could whisper a secret in her ear...she started talking and then pointing at her grandpa ;o) this picture is from right after that! It took a minute to get the cake to where he was and then by the time he blew out the candles it had melting the frosting!!! Ha,ha,ha! I guess we shouldn't have taken a picture with the candles burning;o)

Race for the Cure

On May 9Th, we did Race for the Cure again. Here we are in the parking lot waiting for some of Tabitha's other team members.

Yep The Third is there he is just a little camera shy...nothing Grandma can't handle ;o)
Well right off the bat we lose everyone...Tabitha was waiting for someone else, Tatem was feeling sick, so Grandpa, The Third and I headed over to get our bags...but then we waited and waited...I gave TB my phone so she could call us to find us...well Tim didn't have his, so he went looking for a professor he saw working to see if he could borrow hers...while me and The Third waiting for them at the bag place....look at all these people how on earth could you find someone if you didn't have a phone??

Tatem did real well started to tucker out after about 2 miles....

Grandpa, The Third and Mommy...should we run???

Tatem having fun riding on everyone;o) No problem...it's a better workout. As long as she is not choking you to death ;o)

We are on the left hand side of this picture...as you can see Tatem is walking we are near the finish line and she wanted to walk or run a crossed it!

The Third and Grandpa left us in the dust a long time ago, so it is just the 5 of us...#5 is Tabitha's friend and for the life of me I can't remember her name...sorry ;o(Once again we are more to the left hand side of the picture, but kinda in the middle
Ok we crossed the finish line and then went to find Grandpa and the Third...then I see the clock and had to take a picture of it....we guesstimate that we cross it somewhere around 52 or 53 minutes...not bad time with a three year old walking or running most of the way!! The Third and Grandpa did it in 47-48 ish they said...once again not bad for a 6 year old walking and running all the way!!!

This year since we didn't have to wait 1/2 hour plus in the bathroom line in the middle of the race we came in way before a lot of people!!! This is a picture of them still coming in after we were done! Time for a well deserved treat!!

We lost Aunt Tabitha....oh wait there she is....what a crowd!

We went out to lunch (for mother's day) right after....(Terriebeth was going to her in laws for Mothers Day). Tatem hiding under the table. She is not tired or anything ;o)
