Ok well the time difference has me all thrown off. I think this day is like Day 5, but according to pictures it day 4....I'm so confused any way it is Thanksgiving Day!!!
To start it off we went for a 5K run. We have been running in the 5K Turkey Trot in Boise the last couple of years and so we thought it would be fun to do it in Japan. So I had Terance King make us some shirts. These are all pictures from after the run.
We did an elevator picture so everyone could be in it!
Fixing Thanksgiving dinner!
Appitizers! Yummy !
Dinner is served
View from a walking bridge as we were headed to get dessert.
Doesn't seem to matter the day or the time it is always busy here. It doesn't seem to matter where you are either, it's the same everywhere.
Dessert was at the new Chocolate Bar
Cute display for another store in front of it...Tatem got in it for her picture and you should have seen the Japanese people start taking pictures of her. I was too slow with my camera to capture it.
So in Japan they are very organized. Even with their lines for waiting, to eat, pay or shop. They have a sign or someone holding a sign on the other side of the sidewalk so you don't block it or the door. You get in line and wait. Here we are finally at the front of the line. I think we had to wait about 1/2 hour. Once you get close to the front, they take your order, then when you go in, you give them your paper and pay and they make the stuff. Everything is made fresh.
Oh wait here is the picture of everyone snapping pictures of Tatem!
The Chocolate s'mor! So Good!!
Our hot chocolate...in a hug mug which TerrieBeth really likes because you hug it with you hands and then they stay warm ;o)
The boys with their Milkshakes! Yep that is real ice cream on top! Topped off with a little chocolate!
Stay tuned for some more fun filled adventure from Japan!!!
