Ok Today from the pictures doesn't seem like we did to much, but I know we did. All the pictures must be on my cell phone. To start off the day I took a picture of their door and all the locks. It struck me funny that you can leave your wallet or purse on the the table to save your spot in a public place no worries but you need to have all these locks on your doors.
We walked past this parking lot, wanted to show you how small it is. And how tight the cars are parked. As you can see it doesn't hold many cars but this is one of the big ones.
We went to the bakery for breakfast, They have some good stuff there! Very different from our bakery's here in the USA. Everything is out in the open and you help yourself, you put stuff on a tray and then they bag them up for you.
Once again this is how big it is. The oven's are stacked one on top of the other and they whole shop is very tiny.
More Christmas decorations
We stopped at the corner grocery store to see what they had. Lots of fruit
Very expensive eggs....160 yen($1.60) for 6 eggs
Some cute speckled eggs, and some big brown eggs.
This was the biggest can of peas they had, it was very small
After the store we went and stood in line to wait for the Apple store to open so we could get Grandpa's phone fixed, he was having withdrawals. They have quite the operation here.
We left his phone there and went shopping, so I'm guessing all those pictures are on our cell phones. But for some reason I have this picture of TerrieBeth with a Noe Mask. She looks pretty good!
Waiting again for his phone.
For lunch we went Wolfgang Puck express and Tim and TerrieBeth were really excited!
TerrieBeth had spaghetti bolagnese
Tim had linguine and clam sauce
Now I know your going to be surprised to hear that I had french fries...the conveyor belt sushi was much better
After that we tried Mejia Shrine again so we could go to the museum that was closed. Still amazed how you can find this much space in this big city of building and trains and such.
You guessed it, the museum was closed, so we headed back. Here is some pictures of more fall colors
I thought TB and TW were cute walking with their umbrella's in the leaves, only place we saw leaves on the ground. The fall colors were an added touch.
The fire department. Aren't their fire trucks cute?
The one and only Pepsi truck we saw....I thought it was cute!
Ok this is another parking garage, you drive in and the little circle turns and then they go in the doors on the back which is an elevator. Just like Boston where Tonya parked only I didn't see this one in action.
More Christmas lights
Dinner tonight was at the Dumpling place
Cucumber Salad, which was ok
Some Chicken Soup and rice
Dumplings
Once again this is the whole restaurant, cooking prep and eating area...They use their space and most are very small.
Ok on the way home we once again passed another Octopus Balls place. Everyone but me wanted to try some. Ok not sure Trip and Tatem wanted to.
Let me clarifly that it is just Octopus meat mixed with spices and rolled into a ball!
I'll let the pictures tell the story! I give them all credit for tying them. No way was I going to do it!
And I can't leave out good old 7 eleven. We went their for ice-cream a lot. I miss the ice-cream~
A pretty lit up building. Never did find out what it was but I think I have better pictures of it somewhere!
